Partner Spotlight: Saint Alphonsus
Saint Alphonsus is a key PTECH partner and supports our efforts to build a skilled workforce in the healthcare pathway to fill available jobs in the industry.
In February, students in the healthcare pathway from Melba High School visited Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise to learn more about jobs in their chosen field. The healthcare pathway is the newest addition to the PTECH program, preparing students to be Pharmacy Techs, Radiology Techs or Medical Assistants, to name a few. Jobs like these pay between $12 and $22 per hour. Huge thanks to our host - Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.
Below is a brief interview with Heather Sprague, VP of Human Resources/Chief Human Resources Officer at Saint Alphonsus Health System.
